Q: "If I take defensive driving for the insurance discount only, may I take it again for ticket dismissal in the same year?"
A: Yes! If you take ALL JOKES Defensive Driving for the insurance discount, you can take it again in the same year for a ticket dismissal.
Q: "What forms of payment do you accept?"
A: Currently we accept payment by Cash & Check and Visa/Mastercard!
Q: "Is a turtle without a shell naked or homeless?"
A: Turtle Soup!
Q: "How soon after I complete the class will I get my Certificate of Completion?"
A: Starting September 1st, 2002 ... you will receive a receipt at the end of the class. Your Certificate of Completion will be in the mail within 2 business days! We do everything we can ... to drop the certificates in the mail the same day as class.
Q: "Do I have to talk to the Court before taking the class?"
A: You must "get permission" from the Court before taking the class for a ticket dismissal. When you go to the Court be sure to take with you: Proof of Insurance and Driver's License.
Q: "Do we get breaks?"
A: Yes! There is a 10 min. break every hour.
Q: "How long is the lunch break?"
A: There is a 30 min. lunch break.
Q: "Why do they have drive-up ATM machines with Braille lettering?"
A: It is the law!.
Q: "Do you have something to snack on?"
A: No, but free coffee and water are available.
Q: "Should Vegetarians eat animal crackers?"
A: Only if you bring them yourself.
Q:"Will you have a class if I am the only person there?"
A: Yes! That would be extremely unlikely though.
Q: "What should I bring with me when I come?"
A: Just your Texas Drivers License, Court Information, and your sense of humor!
Q: "Do I need my driving record for the class?"
A: No you don't need the Driving Record for the Class... but most courts do require it to be submitted with the certificates.
Q:"Is there a notary available?"
A: Yes there will be a notary available!
Q:"If a funeral procession is at night, do you drive with your lights off?"
A: Only if you wish to join the deceased!
